summer so far

my hand is hurting a lot more these days; i've tried resting it for as long as i could, but i can't resist doodling at my job!

sorry for lack of updates -- i am in a rough spot with my art right now. urgh, i hate art blocks!!

hodgepodge of things

experimenting with brush pens and drawing more tangled stuff, mostly because THE DVD IS COMING OUT AT THE END OF THE MONTH!!! :) and i promised i'd draw more fanart... aka doodles in between assignments. i have a bunch of original artwork but i want to pretty those up before i post them :)

Tangled! A ton of relatives are over, including very young cousins, who love this movie. Gave me an excuse to draw more fanart... 'cause i'm cool.

breath of fresh air

...Almost!! It's our last week of school before the holidays, so everyone's living in the studio now. I've taken a liking to watercolours to help me relax and recharge my art mojo, so to speak. I'm not... the best at it but it's fun and effortless and really adds some zazz to some of my drawings!

Some stuff

School.... busy as usual! But fortunately I always have time to doodle. it's nice to be able to do my own ugly little drawings once in a while!

stress

These past two weeks have been nothing but work, work work... and I barely get a chance to draw my own stuff anymore. Yesterday, the traveling bookstore came to Sheridan and I was able to get Deanna Marsigliese's art book!! She inspires me.

The drawings up there are inspired by her awesome and graphic, illustrative art style.
